SWOT analyses are super useful.
Unsurprisingly, people find their weaknesses easier to list, because most of us seriously undervalue ourselves.

But spend time on it, you'll be surprised just how many strengths you have.

Your basic template is:

1. Strengths:

Identify the internal positive attributes of your business. Things like your team's experience, your skills and experience, product attributes and so on.

2. Weaknesses:

Recognize the internal negative attributes your business has - these are not BAD THINGS. They are weaknesses that you should address - we all have them. These are factors that could potentially hinder your business's success.

3. Opportunities:

Identify external factors that your business could capitalise on.

4. Threats:

Recognize external factors that could pose a risk to your business. These are typically outside your control but require plans to avoid disaster.
